Different Shoes, Different Decades

Here’s the first outfit post to start 2023 proper, and it’s actually two outfits in one. I couldn’t decide which shoes to wear, so I took photos of both to see which one looked best. It’s really interesting to see that just with a change of shoes, the feel of the outfit is completely different – with the boots, the outfit looks 1970s, while the oxfords make it look 1940s (it also goes to show that there were a lot of 1930s/1940s influences on 1970s/1980s fashion.) In the end, I went with the boots just because it was colder that day, but this was a fun experiment.
