Thanks, It Has Pockets!

Does anything make a girl more excited than a dress/skirt with pockets? Whenever a girl receives a compliment on her pocketed dress/skirt, she always replies with “Thanks, it has pockets!” and makes a show of putting her hands in them, right? I know I do (I recently saw this meme about it, which makes me laugh out loud.). The appeal of the pockets is so great that when I saw this skirt on sale, I was ready to pass it up per my resolution not to buy anything new, but then I saw that it has pockets, and, well, my fate was sealed.
Also, as pretentious as it sounds, I feel a bit like Carolina Herrera in this outfit. It’s the combination of white button-up shirt and midi skirt, I guess.

I wonder why we like pockets so much: I actually don’t put anything in them but I do love dresses and skirts with pockets in them.

Oh I definitely put stuff into my pockets – keys, wallet, little things like that. It saves me having to lug around a bag every time I go out. But even if I don’t put anything in them, I think we just like the idea of stuffing our hands in our pockets!
