Weekly Capsule 43.3: Layering
Posted: October 29, 2015 | Author: Salazar | Filed under: Capsule, Clothes | Tags: black, black flats, black pants, blue, capsule fall/winter 2015, gray, gray embroidered cardigan, navy gingham button-up |2 CommentsThis is probably the most colors/patterns I’ve worn in a while. I guess there’s something about this cardigan that just brought out the maximalist in me, even though I still try to keep the colors limited by picking the least dominated shade in the embroideries (blue).
Also, these flats are hand-me-down from my sister. I agreed to rescue them because they’re too small for her, plus they’re falling apart a little bit and she doesn’t want them to languish in her closet. They may not last pass this season anyway, but I’ll try to give them a last hurrah. In fact, all of my shoes this week are falling apart, so expect to see them on the blog a lot in the next few weeks. I’m going to wear them out all together, so I can discard them with a clear conscience 🙂
Shirt & Cardigan: local shops, Pants: thrifted, Flats: Esprit
Haha, I hear you about the color limiting Salazar. Not big on big, bright, bold colors myself.
But this look works well for you. And no matter whether you’re wearing hand-me-downs from your sister or a new outfit, you always look nice. 🙂
