More Gingham

I know I’ve worn these shoes quite frequently lately. In my defense, they are really comfy and provide a great pop of color to an otherwise basic outfit, so I tend to reach for them a lot. Plus, gingham is one of my favorite patterns, and you don’t often see patterns on shoes – they add a lot of interest without taking attention away from the outfit. I was debating whether to add this brooch at all, but since the outfit is all straight lines and simple cuts, I think the Art Nouveau curves of the brooch can bring some balance to it.
