Wilding

This shirt, which is a hand-me-down from my sister, is already interesting enough on its own (I love the print), but I wanted something more than just a basic top + bottom + shoes. I paired it with these pants because the green matches perfectly, and then I added the clogs because they always strike me as slightly boho, hippie-ish, and this is a slightly boho, hippie-ish top. However, it wasn’t until I looked at the photos again that I realize the clogs don’t go well with these structured pants; they need something more flowy or it’ll look like I’m stepping out in my house slippers. It’s funny how you don’t always notice things in the mirror (I guess that’s why Cher from Clueless says she doesn’t trust mirrors and always has to take Polaroids of her outfits!)
