Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA. I must admit, I picked the inspiration, William Morris’s Woodpecker Tapestry, because of this blazer, but hey, it’s my prerogative as the host, right? I’ve been feeling velvet this fall/winter, and the print of this blazer is the perfect combination of vintage and whimsical – my style sweet spot – so when I saw it at a vintage shop, I knew I had to snatch it up. For the rest of the outfit, I keep things simple, with shades of green, black, and brown.

I was a bit daunted by it too, but then I realized it’s a great statement piece, so I just keep the rest of the outfit simple – like here.
