SIA: Black Cats

It’s time for another SIA! Our inspiration this week is “Kuroki Neko”, aka “Black Cat”, by Japanese artist Hishida Shunso. We have plenty of cute and fun outfits today, so let’s get to them!

First up is Jodie, who’s clearly on the same wavelength as me, because she posted this outfit the same day I posted the inspiration painting. She even has an adorable black cat purse!

Next up is Jen, in a pattern-mixed outfit with her cat-print dress and striped scarf. She also took photos in an actual Japanese garden with a gorgeous maple tree in the background:

Mike‘s outfit is self-explanatory, but he has something extra – a cat postcard he painted himself! How cool is that?

As for Erin, she tried to get her dog to stand-in for the “cat”, but he wouldn’t have it. It’s OK though, her outfit is cool anyway:
