Kuroki Neko

This outfit came together very quickly for me. I took one look at the inspiration painting, “Black Cat” by Japanese artist Hishida Shunso, and though, “Yellow, black, and gray. Done.” If it were colder I would’ve worn a gray sweater underneath the black blazer to mimic the texture of the tree trunk, but for now this T-shirt would do.

What actually took a long time is deciding which of my cat brooches to wear. In the end, I opted for this instead of the wooden one, for a bit of sparkle. I figured the outfit was minimalist enough, so it needed some actual bling to stand out.

Don’t forget, you still have until tomorrow to send me your outfits. There are some pretty cool ones already, so this should be a fun round-up!

Cool, Salazar! It’s a well put together look for you and it goes well with the painting. I’m happy to see that we sort of have the same look going for us (except for the pants).

Should be a great round-up Wednesday!
