SIA Inspiration: Elizabeth Shippen Green

It’s Terri’s turn to host SIA, and here’s her pick:

This is “The Thousand Quilt” (1900), an illustration by Elizabeth Shippen Green, an American illustrator. Terri was drawn to it due to the mother/daughter theme and the handing down of the fiber arts from generation to generation. There are certainly a lot of colors and patterns here to play around with. I have no idea what I’m going to wear yet, but I’m excited to experiment.
