I straight up stole this outfit from Kelley. I would’ve put a little more thought into it (other than “The brown boots would look better with this, only I wore them yesterday already,” I mean), but my brain was on fire. Today I read the worst script I’ve ever read in my time as a script reader – and I’ve read some pretty horrific scripts as an intern, so that gives you an idea of how bad this is. It was like a bad acid trip… which this script probably was. And the worst part is, I’m not allowed to say anything too negative in my comments. I get it, people don’t like to be told that they suck, but to paraphrase Remy from Ratatouille: Anyone can write, that doesn’t mean anyone should.
I tell you, it took a lot of post-Valentine’s Day chocolates to quench my rage.

Remember the story I told you guys last week, about the guy who disappeared down the moat while I was taking pictures? Well, today I decided to go down there myself to explore. It turns out the moat isn’t as creepy as I thought. Actually, once you get past the smell of the sewage, it’s quite nice – with birds and everything. It reminds me of the man-made river behind our house in Vietnam.
That’s what the moat looks like from above. Pretty, right?
Oh and, if the shirt looks familiar, it’s because it used to look like this. It’s been a while since I wore it, and I didn’t remember how constricting that neckline is. So I chopped off the collar and made the scrap into little flowers. The neckline is still a little wonky, but I’m sure after a few washes it’ll curl up and look fine.

P/S: Cynthia of GoChicOrGoHome commented that I always picked a background that goes with my outfit. I didn’t realize it until now, but that’s actually true – to some extent. Like today’s outfit for example, it’s green and yellow, and the background is green and yellow too!
I got back from the dentist’s today after getting 5 fillings. There are more to come. I think I’m going to be best friends with my dentist before this is over. Anyway, the whole right side of my mouth was numb, but I had to eat something (yogurt, I didn’t feel up to chewing anything just yet) so that I could take my painkillers. Did you ever try eating with half a tongue? It’s tough. I kept spilling yogurt everywhere and didn’t even know it until I looked in the mirror and saw my chin all smeared up. I’m telling you, I needed a mirror to eat 😛
