SIA Inspiration: Frederick Judd Waugh

Welcome to another week of SIA! This week the challenge is hosted by Terri, and here is her pick:

This is “Ladies Having Tea” by Frederick Judd Waugh, an American artist best known for his marine scenes (he even designed camouflage for ships during WWI, how cool is that?) There are a lot of rich details here to interpret, and the dark colors are right up my alley, so I’m excited to experiment. Can’t wait to see what everybody wears!
