Fully Vaxxed

I wore this to get my second dose of vaccine. Just like last time, I built the outfit around a sleeveless top and kept the rest of the outfit simple and comfy. It was such a relief to be fully vaccinated. Considering how I’m prone to the flu and colds, I was prepared for the effects of the vaccine, yet funnily enough, I had almost no reaction to either dose – just a bit of pain and stiffness at the injection site, nothing more. My mom also got her first dose a couple of days ago, so it was one less thing to worry about. Things are slowly improving around here too. The number of new cases is still high, but it’s on the decline, and the lockdown has eased up a bit, so fingers crossed!

I am so glad to hear that you are fully vaccinated, Salazar. I was really worried about you, especially with how things have been going over there for the past few months. It is a great relief to have that 2nd shot, though, right? I’m still extremely careful when I go out in public of course, but knowing that I’ll most likely survive if I do catch it is definitely a plus. I’m glad to hear that your mom got the first dose too.
It’s funny (in an ironic kind of way), but I haven’t caught any sort of cold or flu in over a year (not since March of 2020, right when COVID really started spreading over here). Usually, I’m the first in my house to catch a case of the sniffles (public transportation + working in the children’s area at the library = sickness) Fingers crossed that my streak lasts.
Nice outfit! You can probably guess what my outfit was for both of my vaccinations. 😉
In all seriousness though, I’m really glad to know that you’re fully vaccinated.
