Last Of The Summer Skirts

This skirt looks like the perfect summer skirt, doesn’t it? But between the lining and the elastic waist, it’s actually not very comfortable to wear (if you think the elastic waist makes it more comfy, think again. It’s not fun when you have a thick band of elastic around your middle in 100+ degrees and 90% humidity.) That’s why I didn’t wear it until now, despite having thrifted it last winter – back when it was too cold to wear it. Now that I think about it, I have a lot of these awkward in-between items that can only be worn during a tiny corridor of spring/autumn when it’s not too hot and not too cold. I can’t resist a twirly skirt though, so it still stays.
