Woman With A Dog

I went with the textures and a similar pattern (plaid vs. gingham), and although the colors are not quite the same (the colors in the original painting are more navy/mustard, while mine are more green/cognac), I’m quite happy with it. Best of all, my “skirt” is actually culottes, so they’re super comfy to wear.
I tried to get my dogs in the photos with me, but they wouldn’t have it. Just typical. When I want a clean shot, they have no problems photo-bombing me, but when I actually want them in the photos with me, they’re like this:
Well, I had to make do with my dog brooch instead.
Love your pup’s hands over the eyes trick! You really hit the tonality of the painting with your plaids and wonderful cabled sweater. This was a fun painting to work with.
She always does that when she wants some pets!
Ah, DOG brooch! Didn’t even think of that! Could have done that!
I think your outfit is really beautiful- the culottes are superb! I love them! They go so nicely with the jumper.
Your dogs are so cute and the paws over eyes is SO adorable!
I love this outfit, Salazar! How great are those culottes! And I really love the color of your sweater and your dog brooch. Your pups are so adorable! And they seem just as uncooperative as my children!
