This is actually the second time we featured Copley on SIA – the first time was back in 2012, with Watson and the Shark. Terri picked this portrait for its stark and simple colors and composition, and with President’s Day coming up, she thought it would be appropriate. I’ve been watching quite a few documentaries lately on past presidents (particularly on George Washington as he was the first), not really for President’s Day (although this is good timing!), but because of what’s been going on here lately. This one should be fun!
I also love silver and the silver in this is going to inspire me to pull together a lot of silver jewelry.
