Night Sky

I originally bought this sweater (which is a knock-off of a Dior design) because it reminded me of the star spirits in Howl’s Moving Castle (you know, these creepy things), but then I noticed its similarity to the sky disk too, so of course I had to wear it for this challenge. I paired it with these green corduroy pants to mimic the green background of the disk. Sadly, I don’t have any gold shoes, so these brown boots would have to do, and finally, to maximize the celestial theme, I added a sun, moon, and stars brooch too.
If you haven’t sent me your outfit, you still have until tomorrow. Don’t forget to check back on Wednesday to see other outfits inspired by this!
Oooh, Salazar, what a cool sweater! The print really does resemble the sky disc and your green corduroy pants are perfect! This was a really great choice for inspiration. I love all things space!

That is such a beautiful look. I especially love your sweater!
For some reason, my comment didn’t show up from earlier..
But I wanted to say that your interpretation was spot on here, especially your sweater. Your brooch is a nice accessory as well to match the gold on the disk. Great SIA choice!
As always, a great interpretation. You have the best brooches. Was sharing that fact with another blogger I follow. Love that rich color in your pants. And the sweater perfectly mimics the theme of the art.
