SIA: Woodpecker Tapestry

Welcome to another week of SIA! Our inspiration this week is William Morris’s Woodpecker Tapestry, and we have an eclectic mix of outfits, so let’s get to it!

First up is Nancy, who was inspired by the blue and brown color scheme of the tapestry:

Up next, my co-host Daenel paired a lovely floral dress with an embroidered cargo jacket to mimic the colors and texture of the tapestry:

My other co-host, Kim, chose a rich coral pair of pants and blouse from the color of the fruits in the tapestry, and her printed cardigan is to reflect the intricate pattern:

Terri built her outfit around this lovely vintage scarf, and as her accessory, she also carried a book bound in a Morris & Co print:

Finally, here’s me:

Big thanks to everybody for participating, and don’t forget to come back next week for Daenel’s inspiration of choice!

  1. Really like what everyone did. Maybe this work was a little harder to interpret than it first seemed.

  2. Such great outfit choices.

  3. […] Woodpecker Tapestry by William Morris is also a favorite, because it allows me to wear this […]
