Folksy

I then paired them with these recently thrifted heels to mimic the black lines of the tree trunks.
The other of the colors in the painting – mainly blue and red – took me some thinking, however, until I remembered my cotton handkerchiefs and found one with all the colors I was looking for. I tried wearing it as a headband at first, but it didn’t look “me” for some reason, so I decided to wear it as a neckerchief instead. I thought it might be a bit much with the collar of my top, but looking at the photos, it’s not too bad, isn’t it? (I did take it off once I got to work, but the rest of the outfit stayed the same.)
Don’t forget to check out Kim’s blog on Wednesday to see other outfits inspired by this painting!
I like how you picked up the two main colors and the scarf added just the right touch of color. Also, olive green is one of my favorite colors for any season! Take care-and your blouse is beautiful.
I really like your blouse and “no” the scarf doesn’t look “too much!” This is a pretty, feminine look.
Lovely! I think the scarf looks sweet. The pale eyelet top is so pretty.
What a cute outfit.
