Chai Latte

The last time I wore this skirt, one of my co-workers remarked that it looks like a latte (I think she was suffering from caffeine withdrawal at the moment), so this time, I decided to lean into that coffee look and paired it with my brown shirt and beige sandals. The thing is, I don’t actually drink coffee – I love the smell but hate the taste. Vietnam is famous for its coffee, but all that is wasted on me, I’m afraid. If I go to a coffee shop, I usually get some fruit juice (in the summer) or a hot chocolate or tea (in the winter), hence the “chai latte” title.

Haha.. yeah, I used to be that way too; loved the smell of coffee, but hated the taste. In fact, my very first time trying coffee, I absolutely HATED IT!!! I vowed I would never drink such a concoction again. But in an ironic twist of fate, a co-worker of mine had me try again a few years later, and though I still hated it, it was a little easier to drink. And sure enough, after some time (I’m not sure when), I started to like it. Now it’s one of my favorite things to drink. I miss going to my favorite coffee shop after work for a quick one. But I suppose I will have to be patient and hope that things get better here…

Love the color theme for your outfit! It matches the color of my coffee this morning. Great title! πŸ™‚

  2. Such a cute outfit! The top is a perfect match to the skirt. I really like the way the skirt is made.

I like coffee (with milk), but also like chai tea. πŸ˜€
