SIA Inspiration: Worcester TeapotPosted: May 11, 2020
It’s Daenel’s turn to host SIA, and since she is getting interested in tea, she picks this absolutely gorgeous 19th-century teapot:
This was made by the British Royal Worcester Porcelain Company in 1879, and its Japanese-inspired design is a part of Japonisme, a collective fascination with Japan that took place in Europe and the United States during the mid-19th century. You can see more details of the design here, and don’t forget to send your outfit to Daenel (firstname.lastname@example.org) by next Tuesday, May 19th. Have fun!
