Keep On Skirting

Yes, it’s another midi, button-front skirt, but it seems that’s all I’m reaching for these days. I used to wear knee-length or just below-the-knee skirts, but now I tend to go for longer ones. I’m not sure if it’s just the weather (longer skirts = warmer) or it’s my changing style.
In other news, these boots are on their last legs (pun unintended) so I’m trying to wear them as much as I can this season before tossing them. They’ve had a good run (over 5 years!), but I still feel a little sad to see them falling apart. I have plenty of brown ankle boots, but none goes with skirts and dresses as well as these.
It’s a great style for you, Salazar. I say go for it! You always look nice in skirts.
I know what it’s like to say goodbye to a good pair of shoes. I have a pair now that I really need to toss, but won’t because I really like them. I only wear them around the house, as they are too beat up to be worn in public. But it’s time for them to go.
You really look great in skirts (and dresses). Of course, being a librarian they are not very practical for you. But they look great.
