SIA: Mirror Shrine
Posted: February 27, 2019 Filed under: Clothes, Style Imitating Art | Tags: style imitating art 2 CommentsWelcome to another week of SIA! Just as a reminder, our inspiration this week is the Ali Ibn Hamzeh holy shrine in Shiraz, Iran:
We have a small but fun group this week, so let’s get to it!
First up is Nancy in a lovely teal dress and teal cardigan. Talking about sticking with a theme!
Up next, my co-host Daenel chose to focus on the glitter rather than the color of the mirror tiles. She finished off her look with a pair of wine-colored wedges, which is kind of perfect, actually, because Shiraz is known as the city of wine and poetry:
My other co-host, Kim, also chose her pieces to have a reflective feel, along with crystal jewelry and a killer neon-yellow top:
Finally, here’s me:
And that concludes our challenge this week. Big thanks to everyone for participating, and remember to check back next week for Daenel’s inspiration of choice!
Great job, ladies! I’m so happy Nancy joined us. If I had a sparkle top, I would have worn it!
Ahrgrh, I forgot about this! A pity as I had lots of ideas for this!
