Blue Irises

This is the first, and the second is going to be posted later in the week.
This outfit may be a little heavy on the greens and blues and a little light on the yellow, but I did it on purpose to let these socks shine. I have to confess: I picked this painting for SIA partly because of them. I got a few pairs of “famous painters” socks, but out of all of them, this painting is the easiest to interpret in an outfit, so I knew I just had to feature it in SIA.
If you haven’t sent me your outfit, there is still time! And remember to check back on Wednesday to see how the other participants did!
I agree that it was hard to pick one outfit for the beautiful Van Gogh painting! I’m glad to see you added a more saturated blue with your jacket, as that’s what I was drawn to, as well. And, your socks!
It’s a marvellous outfit! I love all the colours and the items you chose- the socks are super. I’m going to wear my outfit tomorrow if ok and send to you by Tuesday night if ok?
This may be my favorite outfit that you’ve worn. The colors, the shoes, everything is perfect!
I love your outfit. It’s so colourful – the perfect antidote to January.
