I tried to recreate the red-and-green color scheme of the painting with my red shoes, but ended up looking like a walking Christmas tree, so I toned it down with my pink shirt instead. It goes better with the green, and the embroideries can mimic the foliage in the painting (both the actual blossoms and the print on the lady’s dress). I would’ve stopped there, but then I noticed the necklace the lady is wearing in the painting, so my vintage-looking necklace made for the perfect outfit-completer.
You still have until Tuesday to send me your outfits, and don’t forget to come back on Wednesday to see the full round-up!
It looks great Salazar! I think that you really nailed this one. It’s a nice mixture of green to balance out your pink top. Your shoes are perfect for this one!
I am loving your shoes! They are fabulous!
Very sweet look, I like the more subtle path you took for this challenge š
You did a great job with your interpretation. That necklace is so pretty. And, as always, Iām digging the shoes.
