A Bookworm’s Problem

We finally had some rain after the scorching heat of last week. Though the rain isn’t as abundant as I’d like and makes the air quite muggy, at least it’s a relief not having to stay inside and have the air condition on all day.

I wore this a used book sale on Wednesday (it’s one of the things I miss about LA – the book sales at the local library every weekend and lunch at the diner afterward.) I didn’t get a lot, only 4 books, but then again, I’m seriously running out of shelf space. I read a lot of ebooks, which helps, but holding an actual book is still so much better, you know? I also try to implement a “one in, one out” rule with my bookshelves like I do with my closet, but it’s a lot harder. Take Harry Potter, for example – I have both the UK and the US editions, and I’m not giving up either of them. They just look so lovely together.

Those trousers look so comfy! My kind of thing!! I find it hard to get rid of books too! So many fun ones and pretty ones and some you know you MUST read them again!

I know, right? Take Discworld, for example: I have the whole collection on my Kindle, but I still buy a hard copy whenever I see one, because they just look so nice as a collection.
