Hazy Shade Of Winter

I know I said we’ve had our first cold snap of the season a couple of weeks ago, but it appears the “real” cold snap – one that lasts more than a few days – doesn’t arrive until next week. In the meantime, it’s gray and drizzling and miserable (hence the post title, which, of course, is also a song by Simon&Garfunkel/The Bangles and a “Stranger Things” reference).

It’s reflected in my outfit too. This jacket is a Teacher’s Day gift from my students, and it’s pretty nice, except it’s a bit short and baggy for my style. So far I haven’t tried pairing it with anything other than skinny jeans, but we’ll see.
