SIA Inspiration: Tacoma Mural
Posted: November 13, 2017 Filed under: Style Imitating Art | Tags: style imitating art 2 CommentsIt’s Jen’s turn to pick the inspiration for this week’s SIA, and she picks this new mural in her town:
Titled “Working Forward, Weaving Anew”, this mural is intended to honor and support Native American voices in public art. Since Thanksgiving is coming up, Jen thought it would be an appropriate choice. How thoughtful! You can learn more about the mural here and see a full view of its design here.
Its meaning aside, I love that this mural is very minimal in colors – only various shades of blue and yellow. It’s right up my alley! Just remember to send your outfits to Jen (librarianforlifestyle@gmail.com) by next Tuesday, November 21st, to be included in the round-up.
Wait, does Jen have a blog? I live about 15 minutes away from Tacoma!
So glad you found my blog, Kristina, at http://librarianforlifestyle.com! Your blog is on my Blog Love list, under the PNW Style bloggers heading 🙂
