School Colors

black tee black printed skirt red heels by 14 shades of grey

I wore this last Friday to welcome the freshman class (the semester started a while ago, but the freshmen always start two weeks later than the rest of the school.) By a happy coincidence, this outfit is in the colors of my old college in LA – black and red. Actually, we didn’t even have school colors until my second or third year, when somebody had the brilliant idea: we’re a tiny film school that is all about guerrilla filmmaking. Guerilla = gorilla = black and red. We even joked that we should have a gorilla as our mascot. There was no gorilla mascot, eventually (again, tiny film school, no use for a mascot), but all of our shirts were printed in black and red and that was the explanation we always gave whenever somebody asked.

The colors suit you well Salazar. You look great as always. Black, red and even white, go well together. And speaking of coincidences, those were my school colors in high school, at least to start with; black, white and red. Eventually, they got rid of the red and we just had black and white.
