Weekly Capsule 17.2: Feathery Strokes

An outfit like this can be more difficult to accessorize than you’d think. The print on the shirt means that a necklace or brooch wouldn’t look good on it, and I only have two bracelets and none of them goes well with it either. So in the end I opted for this belt – the buckle can count as jewelry and it adds a pop of color too. Win-win.

P/S: The post title is actually an obscure reference to this scene in Black Books. There’s a feather on my belt and the print of my shirt looks like brush strokes so that’s what my brain comes up with. Yeah, I can be very literal sometimes.

I agree 100% that belts are a great accessories to an outfit. Love the pop of color with this.
