Spring Cleaning

Mother Nature has a snarky sense of humor, it seems. I’ve bought a bunch of summery tops and pants to make sure I wouldn’t drown in my own sweat (how’s that for a mental image?) when the weather starts warming up, so of course the weather refuses to warm up. Oh well. At least it means I could wear my end-of-season purchases for a while longer, and as long as it’s not too rainy, you won’t hear me complaining.

Still, the un-springlike weather didn’t stop me from cleaning out my closet last weekend. It felt so good that I’m thinking about doing a bit of spring cleaning around the blog as well, mainly with the tags system. Now what I’ve always done is to tag the post with the brands I’m wearing, but that isn’t helpful in finding a particular piece or keeping track of how much I’ve worn something, which I’d like to do. So I’m planning to tag posts with descriptions of the pieces instead, like “blue jeans” or “floral dress” or something along that line. What do you guys think? Would it make the blog easier to navigate? Of course, with 800+ posts to go back on, it may take a while, and some pieces have been tossed, so tagging them would be kind of pointless, but I still like to reorganize the posts as much as possible. Starting with this one.

  1. Love the color and shape of that sweater–also loving those elbow patches!

  2. Your sweater looks so comfy! And the heeled loafers are adorable.

I tag my posts with the descriptions of the items or the patterns I’m wearing, as well. It’s really helpful when I want to see all the times I’ve worn my red pants or my black blazer, for example.

  3. I’ve been wanting a top with elbow patches so badly! Yours is adorable.
