Circle Of Nerds

Having friends with whom I can discuss movies and TV shows. Especially now that the holiday season has started and all these big movies are coming out. That may sound weird considering that I’m working at a film school, but none of my co-workers are film buffs in the same way that I am, the way that my friends in LA are. My co-workers don’t get excited about Catching Fire coming out next week, they would never consider using The Avengers to teach a class on writing an ensemble cast (which is what I’m planning to do), and they certainly won’t scream when they find out Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is going to be a movie. Even the students, who may be more in touch, aren’t that passionate about those fandoms. I can still talk to my friends on Facebook, of course, but it’s not the same. I’m thinking that when the new season of Sherlock premieres in January, we may have to have a Skype viewing session…
P/S: I’m going to be wearing a variation of this blazer + skinny jeans + boots combination pretty much all winter along. It just works, so why mess with it, right?
My cat looks like she’s in The Office. “Can you believe she’s doing this photo again?“
Cardigan: Target, Blazer & Scarf: hand-me-down, Jeans: Forever21, Boots: Vietnamese shop
Hahaha, I love your cat’s side-eye. Yup, the skinny jeans + boots + blazer is always a winner. And that class you’re planning on teaching using the Avengers sounds like a lot of fun.
SHERLOCK. So exciting!
As always, you look so chic and put together – that’s a great winter combination, for sure! Cool scarf.
