Polyester Time

Even though it’s still close to 90 degrees here, the weather has gotten to that weird phase when it’s sweater weather in the morning, but at noon if you’re wearing a sweater, you’ll die of a heatstroke. So my solution is wear all the polyester. I mean, when else can I wear it? It’s warm enough in the morning, and light enough so that the ceiling fan in the teacher’s lounge can keep me cool. This outfit could also be called “raid the closets” too, because only the shoes and accessories are mine. There’s a reason why most of the polyester things in my closet are hand-me-down. I try not to buy them, since there is only a brief window of time when you can wear them and not drown in your own sweat.

… And on that lovely image, I’ll end the post.

  3. hi, I think I have seen you before. I have been a style/thrift blogger for about a year now, (prior was posting but about anything under the sun) and so I am sure I have seen your blog before, but just in case my memory is escaping me, I wanted to let you know that your blog is full of fun ideas and the name is interesting, to say the least. Hmmmm, wonder where you got it’s name? hmmmmm? hahahahaha.

Anyway hi, I’m Renae as #22 at today’s hop and hope to see you over my way soon. Thank you in advance. I know I have seen you over at Thrifted Shift, huh? Don’t we just love Vivienne?

Well if you read my About page you’ll see the blog name is from an album by Staind (what happens to that band?) “50 Shades” came out after my blog, so I wonder where that name came from 🙂

Haha I definitely understand that kind of weather. Though I’m not sure it’s quite sweater weather in the morning yet. I’m just ready for full-blown fall.
I think this is a pretty, classic outfit. The colors are wonderful!
