Pink Bow

It’s another SIA challenge and here’s my interpretation of Jeff Koon‘s “Pink Bow”. I knew it would be difficult because the painting is mostly gold and pink and I have no gold and very little pink in my closet. This is what I came up with – the yellow instead of the gold, and the coral T-shirt because there is a bit of that in the painting from where the bow is reflected off of the gold background. The sandals don’t go, but I tried it with my yellow flats and it looked worse, so sandals it is.

P/S: Happy Earth Day! Before you get off the computer and go outside to celebrate, make sure to stop by Animated Cardigan to see how the others did 🙂

I used to not have a lot of pink in my closet, but suddenly I’ve been drawn to pink. It’s weird.

Very pretty. The yellow is lovely. Poor yellow is neglected I feel. You’ve pulled it off wonderfully!
