Standard

red striped shirt black pleated skirt blue flower brooch by 14 shades of grey

I almost considered not dedicating a whole post to this outfit because it feels like very “standard Salazar” outfit: a striped shirt, A-line skirt, shoes with ankle straps, and a brooch. And it’s not even the best of this silhouette that I’ve put together. But then I realize, it’s good to have a standard outfit because it means that I’m getting closer to having a distinct look, and a distinct style. So here it is, even if it’s not the most memorable outfit I’ve worn on the blog.

  1. I think it’s good to have a standard outfit (mine for the winter was probably plaid wool skirts and a simple sweater), especially when it looks good on you! I really like this outfit, actually; I think the stripes and brooch make it memorable and really pretty!
I really, really want that shirt!

  2. I always love the combination of red and turquoise.

Not sure what my standard outfit it yet. I am hoping my Style blog will eventually help me find one. Taking pictures helps me see what works and what doesn’t, so I am finding my way.

  3. You look so cute in this outfit!! Striped shirts with A-line skirts always look great together!
