No Fuss

Just something simple to end the week. This is one of the few outfits that actually make me look and feel my age, instead of looking like a 5-year-old, a 15-year-old, or a 65-year-old. Ironically, the piece that makes it so doesn’t belong to me – well, it is mine now, but it used to be my sister’s. When I mentioned that I was looking for some loose blouse, she just gave this to me. I was a little skeptical about it at first, because it is not really my style, but I see that it’s nice enough, but casual enough to be really versatile, and now I’m excited to incorporate it more into my closet.
It’s good to feel like a grown-up once in a while, even if it’s only because of the clothes you wear. The only downside is that it’s polyester, which means I can’t wear it for much longer before it becomes a portable sauna.
