I don’t know why, but I feel like such a hipster in this outfit. Perhaps it’s the combination of ballet flats, skinny jeans (or jeggings. Ugh, just typing that word makes me twitch. These have pockets! And a zipper! I refuse to call them anything but skinny jeans!) and the owl pin. I was told that a hipster girl’s outfit is not complete without an owl somewhere (wouldn’t it be cool if it were an actual owl though? You’d have hipsters going around looking like Harry Potter.) All I’m missing is a pair of thick-rimmed glasses and a canvas tote with something ironic printed on it.

You are such a cutie. Your bangs should be longer/in your eyes to be a proper hipster.
Every now & then I get scared that I am becoming one. But then I remember I don’t do nearly enough things ‘ironically’ to be a hipster. And I move on with my life.
Ah, yes, the bangs. I know I forgot something!
And my friends and I have had a serious discussion if we are hipsters or not. We came to the conclusion that we’re not hipsters (who do lame things ironically), we’re just lame 😛

When I list my clothing items I usually just say “pants” to avoid ever having to clarify if I am wearing jeggings or not haha! I also shutter at just the mention of the word, but I think I might own some… I LOVE this outfit! The simple bright yellow skinny belt is the perfect touch 🙂
