Neon + Neutral

The first is the Everybody Everywear Lace challenge, and the second is the Bloggers Do It Better Neon + Neutral challenge.
At first I was just as stumped by this as I was by the Lace challenge. I don’t have any neon-colored thing in my closet – the closest thing is my fuchsia belt, which is too dark to be counted as neon. But then I remembered my hot pink suspenders (thank you Debbi for making me buy them!)
So I approached this challenge pretty much in the same way as I did the Lace challenge – I don’t wear a lot of it, so I’m just going to accent with it. And yeah, strictly speaking, my striped tunic isn’t “neutral”, but the stripes are small enough that it still works.
P/S: My boss said he liked my suspenders 😀

You did fantastic with this challenge! I’m slacking, its been a crazy week and still need to post mine! I think its so funny and fantastic that your boss said he like the suspenders!
I LOVE SUSPENDERS!!!! Ah! I’ve always wanted to try them but I can’t find a pair that I like! You are adorable! So glad I found you through EBEW!!!
This challenge was tough for me too (so was the EBEW lace one!). I like your solution. The suspenders are cute and look so nice against a light, neutral outfit.
Love it, different point of view on neon and neutral 🙂
Love the suspenders! what a creative twist on the accessories. this was a fun challenge.

LOVE the pink suspenders. I think it’s great that you’re finding ways to incorporate these trends without going outside of your personal aesthetic.
