Being a costume drama nerd/freak/geek that I am, when I see “P&P” the only thing I can think of is Pride and Prejudice (and strictly the 1995 mini series with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, not the 2005 atrocity with Keira Knightley. Speaking of Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, I totally giggled when I saw them in that one scene in The King Speech. And David Bamber who played Mr. Collins was in it too – he’s the Theater Director where Geoffrey Rush auditions. It’s like a Pride and Prejudice reunion! OK, I’m going to stop now.)

Anyway, my P&P today actually stands for Plaid and Pleats. I know, I know, plaid again, but just take a look:

How freaking adorable is this?

I wasn’t planning on going to Goodwill today, but it’s right next to my grocery store, so on my way to grocery shopping, I just dropped in. I was wondering around when I saw this baby calling out to me, and naturally I had to snatch it up right away.

I’ve never worn this shade of green before (it’s a little more lime-green in real life), but isn’t trying out new colors what this whole thing is about?
