I’m not entirely happy with it, though. Because I don’t have anything brownish red in my closet, I decided that pumpkin orange will have to do to represent the ground in the painting, but try as I might, any combination of orange and green I put together ended up looking like a leprechaun costume (the black tights might be a bad idea as well.) I guess some color combos are not meant for everyday wear unless they’re really subtle.
Be sure to check out Jess’ blog to see how the others did!

The scarecrow was a nod to the corn field in the painting, but it looked so much more… sinister than I intended

Post title: a king in Irish legend, or more exactly, him as a character in American Gods

I can’t find words, I just love everything with this outfit! The dress, the unexpected combination between green and red, the black tights, the shoes everything is perfect. However, it might not be an outfit to wear if you want to blend in, but I don’t think it is scream look at me either. It is a very nice colorful outfit, so please wear it again!
so so cute! i’m going to peek at the rest.
