SIA Inspiration: Young Corn

It’s again Jess’ turn to pick the inspiration for this week’s Style Imitating Art, and she chose “Young Corn” by Grant Wood:

The only Grant Wood painting I know is American Gothic, so thank you, Jess, for picking a less obvious work. I love this – the style reminds me of illustrations in my old English textbook, and those fluffy trees are just so… cute (how’s that for an attempt at art critique?)
